I've posted pictures before and pretty sure I know what I'm doing. But there was a complaint a while back about too large of pictures causing some to have to scroll laterally to view anything on the page that a picture too large for people with resolutions set too low for the picture posted........that was solved (I assume). But now I'm having a problem posting a picture that I'm pretty sure is not too large. It's 60 kb in size, 300 x 200 pixels (small enough for people using 640 x 480 resolution to see without scrolling) and it's a JPEG. Why do I get an error saying the file is either too large or wrong format? How small does a picture have to be to post?
 
I don't know, DE. I am getting the same thing on my end. I like to post pics of a birthday cake in the Happy Birthday threads, and the last few it wouldn't let me post them. Now that I know someone else is having the same problem, I'll look into it a little harder. I'll let you know what I find out. ;)
 
doesn't work for me either..I did a test in the test section and none of the pictures worked....and they weren't big ones either.....weird....
 
Another question for the Admin or Mods. Is there anyway I can get my name changed from Jmac42vafan to just Jmac?
 
You already are Jmac to me!! :D My fingers don't type too well as it is!! :XXROFL:

The Kat has gotten an error message for all pics I could post before for a few days now and WHY????
 
Just to let you know, sam is looking into the problem. Will keep everyone updated...................... ;)
