Ford Performance Sweeps Daytona

Ford may have swept Daytona but next week may be a different story. Kyle Busch should have been in the truck race .......................... that would have upset the Ford sweep most likely and the unfortunate circumstances in the Xfinity race are well known. JGR had the best stuff for the 500 but again their best driver wasnt there. seems like Ford had an easy weekend to me............................ just my un-biased opinion

you mean totally biased opinion... Hendrick definitely had the best stuff in the 500 not JGR. Logano had the best of the Fords and it wasn't that far off of the Hendrick cars. The fact that Matt is really good at blocking doesn't mean they have the best stuff.

Matt was laps down, I did expect one of the other JGR cars to get it done.
BTW .............. I forgot to add a :sarcasm: to the un-biased comment

Logano showed he had a fast car in the Duel, he was making a run for first in turn 4 and the 88 cut him off, but I agree HMS came to play, but they weren't as hungry for the win. I don't buy the "I should have won" from goldenboy, I watched him lose with a better car too many times.
 
I think that the difference between the Hendrick guys and Logano in that race is that Joey had the speed AND handling.. He was able to make some moves that others couldn't.. I'm hoping that theme carries over to Atlanta... next weekend will be a good indicator of what were in for this season.
 
You could see it in the way Joey drove all day. When he went backwards he didn't stay there long. He made some moves that got him right back up front. You could tell he didn't want to be in the middle or back of the pack.
 
Good job and glad Ford was able to have a tear free weekend.

The she Fords had gotten to easy, and had become to much of a cheap worn out sure thing . A little resistance helps the interest and it will make the yearly November experience a little more fun.
 
Xfinity race, one two and they dominated all night long. Beuscher continues to impress IMO. Trucks should have been the same but instead of staying behind the leading Ford driven by the riddler Riddick and finishing second, rocket scientist Theriault pulls out of line in turn four and looses two places for a fourth.

Stat: Since @NASCAR has run all 3 major series at @DISupdates in 2000, this is the first sweep by one manufacturer.
