We left Chicagoland at noon last year and drove home because I knew there was no way the rain was going to clear out. Some of those people stayed at the track until 8:00 pm waiting, Eff that. But my tickets went unused because I couldn't stay an extra day. :(

Record it an avoid all contact with any websites, people or TV stations that could spoil the race for you. I've even put signs on my office door telling people "If you know anything about the race (or whatever sporting event I may have been recording) do not talk about it in my presence or anywhere in this vicinity." It worked! haha
 
I can't watch it tomorrow or Monday ---- the pole holding the satellite dish rusted through and fell over this afternoon. DirecTV can't get here until Tuesday afternoon. *sigh*

You still may catch the race, since rain is forecast for most of Monday and part of Tuesday.
 
This is just what Nascar could of ordered with UNC playing tomorrow. They will have to get it in, before the Tebow takes Manhattan press conference on Monday though.
 
lol @9000 psi and tell the husband to stand outside with the dish...you can pay him back after the race:rolleyes:

Sure does look nice there right now but the SpeedTV crew will most likely ignore the forecast until it's actually raining.
 
If they start this thing, it should be anything but boring as I'd think teams are going to be thinking 101 laps.

The racing is good until things get strung out 10 laps into a run. Since the tires stay equal so damn long, the parade goes on until there's a yellow.
