SI.com has released their annual list of the 50 highest paid athletes in the US. Dale Earnhardt Jr retains his spot at #11 with $4,611,290 in salary/winnings and $22,000,000 in endorsements for a total income of $26,611,290 last year.
Jeff Gordon drops from 14th to 21st with $5,944,140 in salary/winnings and $15,000,000 in endorsements for a total of $20,944,140.
Tony Stewart drops off the list for this year. Funny thing is, I haven't heard of half of these guys. Especially the MLB players.
