Is it just me (and 97) or is the forum extremely slow? I am having a hard time getting logged on and when I do I have an even harder time trying to get from topic to topic. The site keeps timing out and I keep getting an error display, anyone experiencing problems?

Yes, earlier today that happened also. Nothing that the site admins can do as it is with their provider (host) or upstream (network or data center).

It isnt slowing down for me and I'm on a 56K as well. I must be lucky

it seems to come to a crawl about mid way through most races. and stays that way till an hour or so after.
We have plenty of bandwidth but with the constant barrage of searches being done(mainly by visitors) there isnt much we can do at this point. We would have to actually own the host company and totally dedicate the bandwidth during peak times just for us.
not that that would be a bad thing.
