Was digging around some old stuff from 1999 and found this comparison of Tony and Dave in their BGN days.
Ya just never know how things will turn out.
In 36 Busch Series races (1996-98) prior to his full-time Winston Cup debut at Daytona this February, Tony Stewart posted seven top-ten finishes, earned six top-five and 12 top-ten starting spots (including two pole positions at Rockingham in 1998) and won $364,585.
In 34 Busch starts entering Dover, Dave Blaney has registered seven top-ten finishes, eight top-five and 18 top-ten starting positions (including track-record pole efforts at Charlotte, Atlanta and Texas) and has won $390,657
