FOX Sports 1 extends NASCAR Race Hub to 60 minutes

They need to show the practices on the main channel. Dont watch the Hub so could not care any less about it.

Let's see, move college football games that millions of people watch to FOX Sports 2, so they can't watch, so FS1 can air a practice session that, maybe, a few hundred thousand people are watching for a race that will be on ESPN. That makes perfect sense.

Practices are usually in the morning so this doesn't affect the games as they are played late in the afternoon.

Anytime they communicate with feedback they get get their butts slammed. Probably why they got their butts twisted to increase it for a whole hour. numbskulls
 
Sweet although it would be nice if it was on a little later.

Also, I could care less about practices.. Unless a guy wrecks, it's by far the most tedious thing to watch in Nascar.

How did they get shafted?

Speed was already included with their main package.

FS2 is an addictional channel that they included in their sports package.

    Bob AddisonEver since it changed to Fox Sports 1 it seems like us NASCAR fans don't matter to them.... They put RACEHUB on whenever they have a mind to and most of us miss it every day.. They also cut it to 30 min. shows. They messed up RACEDAY also. Don't get me wrong I love football, but NASCAR is my first Love.....

I'd rather watch football than R U Faster Than A Redneck. A lot of short memories. How many people complained about SPEED when it was on air not having enough motorsports programming? Now these people act like SPEED was all racing all the time.

SPEED hasn't been a good channel since 2003.
 
I wonder what happens to Motocross now. I watched that all the time on SPEED.

how much excitement can you get out of practice? the talking heads are the show.
 
I dont really watch practices myself but I like to have that peace of mind that if I wanted to I could.
 
Its not like it's not airing at all.. just not on a channel not alot of people have. I remember the days when pratices and even qualifiing wasn't shown.. (it wasn't that long ago)

I'll just find a stream.. I'll be looking for one for the Mods tour race anyway
 
The only time I care about practice is during Daytona Speedweeks. It wasn't that long ago that none of this stuff was shown. I remember when it was a bonus when Speedvision aired qualifying.

there was a time this year it wasn't on speed some other channel, they were showing re-run nascar races back in the 80's short track stuff in the daytime. It was great, didn't know who was going to win the race, Sr., DW, Rusty, Kyle, Kulowicki, Jarrett, Elliott, all the ol guys. It was on for a couple of weeks every day. Best daytime show in years, Economacki at the mike.

ESPN Classic used to show old school races too.

Dont know if they still show them as I lost that channel a few year back.
 
SPEED used to air NASCAR Classics as well ... they did that for about two years. Aired a bunch of old Daytona and Talladega races.
 
I don't get ESPN Classic but I know MASN airs a lot of ESPN's Classic's NASCAR rebroadcasts. I remember one time they aired a NASCAR race that ESPN moved over to ESPNews.
 
It's funny people complain about not enough racing on FOX Sports 1 when stick and ball people complain already about too much racing.. They're gonna have a meltdown when FOX Sports 1 picks up Nationwide and Sprint Cup.
