I don't have it. I am fighting for it. Fox says this is on the providers. My provider--Comcast--says it's on Fox. I pay the money. I can't figure out who to yell at. Thinking dish, but I hated it when I had it a few years ago. Thoughts...

You have to pay extra for it. Your cable provider handles that stuff.

Nope. I would pay for it, but my provider says it is not yet offered. Doesn't know when/if it will be.

Dish Network here. Got all of the Fox networks. I've never had any problems with my system whatsoever. The Hopper is one sweet DVR.

dish Network here, switched from Direct and got more channels for less money. Got all Fox channels as well.

Direct TV, all channels as well.

Oh you guys are just making me soooo happy. Gonna get after that freakin' cable company big time. Not sure what jerk off games are being played between FS2 and Comcast. Sucks.

Had Dish here until it quit working when we needed it the most - during a blizzard. I'll never do that again, unless I've got solid connection backup. I'm upgrading my internet TV interface instead.

Satelite TV is not meant to be had in this region. lol

Unless of course you dont mind it going down every few days because a snowout or gusty winds and such.

Try a smaller provider if you have one in your area. I have Grande Communications. It is a smallish cable, phone, and isp company based in Texas. I have all the Fox channels, and they never get into money fights with any networks. All the networks usually go after the big guys when it comes to money and leave the smaller guys alone. Time Warner is the big dog in my town, and they are always having disputes with networks over money. My provider, not once. Plus I still get awesome things like 110Mbps internet speeds. Sometimes the big dogs are not always better.

Yeah, I'm in the Pacific Northwest, and with trees, etc. in my area, the only placement for the dish is on my roof. That's fine until snow, etc. and I'm screwed. The only other option is Comcrap. They will come around, they just have to play jerk around. What pisses me off is that I can't access the a**hole that holds the keys to the kingdom. I'll find him. You can run, but you can't hide. :dual9mm:

I have a good chain saw you can use, there aint no tree gonna stand in the way of my racing. Hell when it snows just send the kids up there to brush it off if you have to mount it on the roof.

Tell Fox to charge less so the cable company will carry it. Fox has been playing this game for a few years now. They hike the price they charge the cable company for the channel, then tell viewers the cable company is to blame.

Directv here for about 5 years. Love the Genie whole home DVR. Mines on my roof as well and it takes quite a bit of snow and ice to mess up my signal.

DirecTV is pretty good and has a lot of features, but it is a bit unreliable (well, mine is anyway). Mine went out during the NFC Championship game last week, had to watch the 2nd half on my phone

I'm gonna hammer on both ends. Pisses me off. Really don't want to switch back to dish. It has been a few years, and I'm sure reliability is better, but just really don't want the hassle. I know that Comcrap will come around. It looks like FS1 will carry the majority of the NASCAR programming during the Fox portion of the season, so I have some time. Thanks everybody for the input.

I might add that Fox is a bunch of dickheads as well. The Fox Sports Go App will only include channels that you get through your TV subscription. Why? Freakin' why? So, you could have me watching a commercial that I wouldn't otherwise because my cable company sucks, but you won't because you want to piss me off so that I bitch to my cable company? Jackwads.

Sucks.

I think the number I saw for them for them was less than 40 million homes in terms of distribution.

Well, the whole deal is a giant screwjob. Why the hell wouldn't I be able to pay for the only the channels I want? Stupid.

Comcast has FS1, it's FS2 they still refuse to offer.
My real hope is that maybe 10 years from now wireless data speeds are fast enough to watch TV and the cable monopolies finally get a challenge from those deep pockets. That was promised with 4G, but the data caps are so low from Verizon and AT&T that you'd bust through the caps within a day. So I guess we'll have to wait for 5G or whatever they call whatever comes next.
Comcast and Time-Warner are especially annoying since they are both cable monopolies and content owners. So Comcast makes sure everybody gets NBCSports since Comcast owns NBCSports. Comcast plays hardball with FoxSports, though.

It's a huge conflict of interest and seems one of the few cases where there is a real anti-trust concern. If Comcast didn't have such a large cable monopoly in it's territory, then I wouldn't care that they also are one of the largest content owners.

The Feds forced a split of the Hollywood studios and movie theater ownership back in the 40s on similar anti-trust grounds. Back then an MGM-owned theater could just refuse to show a Warner Brothers movies, ignoring consumer demand, and just shove MGM-owned movies into the theater. Was a big issue especially in smaller towns that only had 1 theater.

I hope by the 2020s advances in wireless data speeds will render these local cable monopolies somewhat obsolete. Until then Comcast and Time Warner are gonna milk their monopolies for every last dollar.

It looks like the last 4.5 hours of the 12 Hours of Sebring are going to be on FS2 as well. What a shame.

I know it will NEVER happen but I think cable companies should offer an A la Carte option where you pick the channels that you want and you pay $1 per channel.
Wishful thinking.

no way,LOL I get 250 channels, Now if they let you add any channel for a dollar then yea I'm for it.
As far as snow and bad storms, ours goes out temporarily only in bad storms, snow knocks it out if it builds up on the dish itself, spray cooking oil or something close and it wont stick. simple solution.

Half of the channels that I receive are in a language other than English. I don't think it's fair that I pay for channels that are not in my native language.

Are you sure that's not something added? You could be paying more than you should.

I only get standard spanish channels like Univision and Telemundo. No other.

I have Time Warner Thievery. It's standard practice to include channels that you would never want to watch in order to get the few that you actually do want to watch.

Yeah, I want FoxSports 2, MavTV, and The Blaze -- none of which Comcast offers where I live.
But they added Al Jazeera, in case I want to watch some propaganda from the Royal Family of Qatar.

I already paid more for Speed tv, now Fox Sports 1. No way am I gonna pay even more to get Fox Sports 2. I already pay too much as it is.
