Doing some cleaning up. This is something people do at the age of 76, start cleaning out stuff. So ....... take a look and see if there is anything of interest to you. Most items are free but you pay postage and most can be shipped media mail, around three bucks. ($3.00) It might be a little more and then, it might be a little less. Winston Cup Illustrated was published with a hard cover. December, 1992 , one of the first, a Richard Petty Special Edition. A great tribute to Richard Petty with accolades from many drivers and race personnel. It is a good look at who Petty was as a driver and as a person. Many excellent photos of Petty's career from beginning to publication. Also includes a copy of WCI, June-July 1990, featuring Petty, Mark MArtin, Ernie Irvan, Chad Little w/Junior and Flossie Johnson. Gatefold photos of Mark Martin and The Winston, 1989." $15.00, plus postage.
So, here's the deal. These books, magazines are all in very good condition. All pages intact and no rips or tears, no coffee spills, or other damage. These are all that are left from a large collection I accumulated during my time going to races. Sadly, 90% of the magazines and over fifteen years of Grand NAtional Scene and National Speed Sport News were destroyed when a water line broke in the basement of our home in 1996.
