Please stay home tomorrow if you live in the Southeast, unless it is a REAL emergency!
Temps are already down in the 30s in the Atlanta area and it is raining,
Please remember that if you do HAVE to drive to make sure you slow down and leave lots of room between you and the driver in front of you.
Remember that the thing that looks like a puddle or wet road may be black ice.

I'm just glad we are finally going to get some snow tonight!!! (about 3 to 4 inches in Southern WI) . I'm not a cold weather person, but if it has to be cold outside, I'd rather have some snow on the ground.

I do enjoy watching the footage on television of you Southern folks trying to drive in that type of weather! It's good for a laugh!

Man isn't that the truth, I live down here and get a good laugh at it.

Well I not wishing no bad luck. But I hope you keep all the snow up there. Don't want none here in West TN. And Kat if you go anywhere tomorrow. be careful.

I'll take snow anyday, I just don't want ice or freezing rain.

17, how far southwest are you? Milwaukee area is only supposed to get an inch or 2 at the most. We may be neighbors!!!!!! ;) :D

Man 17, seriously..a good half-inch of that ice or snow shuts 'bama down. We just can not drive in that stuff, no way no how. Best just to sit at the ranch and watch 'Beverly Hillbilly' reruns---now that was a show!

Please keep the freezing stuff up there! Like bowtie, I sit in my house and watch all of the fools drive here in Texas. I can't help but laugh because it is just too funny watching native warm weather folk drive around on the ice covered roadways!

At least I hope the weather isn't going to be crappy the week of Christmas! I will be travelling up to see the kinfolk in Nashville, and will have to go thru your neck of the woods Gollum. Leave DFW area thru Little Rock to Memphis and on to Nashville! And the only stops in between are just leg stretchers and/or fuel breaks!

Yep you will come up I40 from Memphis to Nashville. You'll pass a town name Jackson. That is about 60mi south of me. Have a nice trip.

I live in Henderson, Nevada which is right next to Vegas, we're surrounded by a bunch of mountains and the word snow is as rare to us as military victory is to the French.

I love snow, but the freezing rain/sleet combination we have today just plain sucks.

The snow is gorgeous though. If I didn't have to go to work today and run some errands on the way the icy stuff wouldn't bother me so much. ^_^

Grrrrrrrrrrrr  Woke up this morning to see all the snow & WTF...nothing! Durn Weather Nerds don't know what they are talking about!

NW...I'm in Watertown (Jefferson County). About halfway between Milwaukee & Madison.
