frequencies

Where can I get a list of frequencies for a scanner to use at the race? I am a cheap person and would like to get them for free! Any ideas? I am going to the race here in KC so I am giving myself plenty of time to get the scanner programed.

I'm not sure that they keep the same frequencies for every race. As far as getting them for free, if you own your scanner, you may be able to get them online. I'm not sure of the website address, but you may be able to do a search to locate one. I know that TMS has the scanner channels in the programs that they sell at the track. I will keep looking around to see if I can locate them online.

The frequencies to my knowledge are issued by the FCC ! It's part of the radio system of the USA.

I read that somewhere about 5 years ago.

Thanks, Tobasco. Like I said, I wasn't sure if they kept the same frequencies throughout the year or not. Looked at my freq. from TMS and they look the same as what was on the website that you posted.

They tried to give it away toward the end!! I hope they move up in the rankings now!
