The "good old days" ??
I enjoy a little good natured trash talk, so I spoke to dpkimmel about getting things started early. He pointed out some problems with doing this manually, so this is what I came up with.
Pick one driver for each race of the weekend. Those drivers will earn you whatever points they score in the each of the races. Total them up after the cup race, and we'll have a winner. Tie breaker will be the time you post your final picks. Naturally, the earlier the better. 1 hour before start time, you are locked in with a list I'll post. I'll only post picks that are made early enough.
This is a friendly trash talking thread. If you're thin skinned about your favorite driver, don't bother playing. Feel free to rip others picks and trash talk those you have bested, but stay away from personal attacks. There is a big difference between calling someones favorite driver an idiot and calling that person an idiot. You can always block those you want to ignore.
If enough people have fun with this, I'll do it every week. I'll wont make my picks until the thread has been up for 8 hours so I don't have an advantage on the tie breaker.
