Fired up Friday questions.....

FUF #1: "If you could send one NASCAR driver to represent the US in an International Race, who would it be?"

FUF #2: " ESPN has announced that Carl Edwards will return to the booth to call three Nationwide races this season. If you could choose one cup driver to help call a Nationwide race, who would you pick?"

FUF #3: "Some races this year have ended with lots of frustration… post race scuffles, twitter wars, etc… Does that make the race experience better?"

I'd choose Keselowski. He earned it. I'd probably always go with the reigning champ. Nesides, I think he's a pretty likeable guy and that'd translate well wherever he race at.

Again, I'd choose Keselowski for this. He always has something to say that's worth hearing.

I like the occasional post race scuffle. They make for memorable moments. If it happened all the time it'd simply be WWE. Twitter wars seem juvenile. High school type stuff.

Clint Boyer, he is typical for us in the mid west and he is hilarious.

I actually enjoy cousin Carl on the mic, he has a good slant on racing.

There should be a boxing ring at each track. :D

I agreed wholeheartedly with Smoke as the most versatile ,well rounded ( no pun) driver to enter and Jeff Burton as the next great commentator . As to the unrealistic expectations for a sideshow that some promoters push , I want the racing to be the main event. The racing can be sustained , the sideshows will always fizzel out.

Probably someone like Jeff Gordon or Dale Jr.. they are worldwide known names for people that don't watch. So if someone like say Clint Bowyer was sent.. a lot more people would say...who?

Bowyer..he's funny. Or Marcos he has a cool accent lol.

YES! Makes you pick a side! GO JOEY! :p

1- I'm sure not a popular choice but Jimmie Johnson. His personality would shine on a International platform. Ever see a F1 driver interview???:D

2- Carl actually does a good job in the booth, and ESPN needs the help.

3- Post race scuffles take away from the product on the track. I'm a settle it on the track type guy. But if it can't, at least throw some punches. These slap and tickle fests today make it seem all for show.

I don't like the twitter stuff.. just the feuds...and them throwing it in our faces makes us have to pick a side makes the next race you just have another driver to keep an eye on, which always makes it more interesting.. how many of your eyes were glued to the TV when Tony let Joey go on the high side thinking he was coming back for the punt? I know it crossed my mind.

Jimmie Johnson of course. C'mon dpk, give me a real question! :p J/K J/K

FUF #2: " ESPN has announced that Carl Edwards will return to the booth to call three Nationwide races this season. If you could choose one cup driver to help call a Nationwide race, who would you pick?"

Kyle Busch, just so he won't run in a Nationwide Race and completely dominate, thus giving someone else a chance to win.

FUF #3: "Some races this year have ended with lots of frustration… post race scuffles, twitter wars, etc… Does that make the race experience better?"

Not really, but it's nice to know that the drivers are passionate about the sport, and that's always nice to see.

1- Reigning Champ.

2- Jeff Gordon

3- I like the occasional post race scuffle. They make for memorable moments. If it happened all the time it'd simply be WWE. Twitter wars seem juvenile. High school type stuff.

4- I stole your answer to #3, so sue me, or you can get an extra ration of my BL at Eldora, your choice.

1) Jimmie Johnson. Good image for it and a ton of skill obviously.

2) Clint Bowyer - very good driver and hilarious, good combination.

3) Twitter wars are weak. The occasional scuffle I don't mind. Doing it every week or so would be overkill.

1. JPM- He's seems more international than any other driver.

2.JPM- Let him actually call the race. See if anyone can figure out what's going on.

3.Nope. Grade school stuff. Grow the **** up.

FUF #1: "If you could send one NASCAR driver to represent the US in an International Race, who would it be?"

Brad Keselowski - he's the reigning Cup champion and would be better than most at giving a straight, as well as interesting, answer when being interviewed by the "foreign" media

FUF #2: " ESPN has announced that Carl Edwards will return to the booth to call three Nationwide races this season. If you could choose one cup driver to help call a Nationwide race, who would you pick?"

Clint Bowyer - along with insightful comments, would provide genuine comic relief that others fail miserably at

FUF #3: "Some races this year have ended with lots of frustration… post race scuffles, twitter wars, etc… Does that make the race experience better?"

post race scuffles and animated post race interviews can be interesting but twitter wars have a serious "girlie-man" quality to them
