Kahne to announce 2011 plans on SPEED hour-long special*

By Nick Bromberg

In an unprecedented move, Kasey Kahne will reveal where he is going to drive next season in an hour-long special to be aired Thursday at 9 PM ET on SPEED.

Kahne will make the announcement from his hometown of Enumclaw, Washington and said that the proceeds from the exclusive announcement will go to the Victory Junction Gang camp that is being built in Kansas City.

"I felt that this was a great way to support the Victory Junction Gang camp and put to rest all of the rumors surrounding my intentions for the 2011 season," Kahne said in a press release.

"While I will not take any questions on the matter until Thursday evening, I'll just say that my fans may not want to burn their Budweiser gear just yet."

Former TNT announcer Bill Weber will serve as the special's host and entertainment from Enumclaw. Weber will have a sit-down interview with Kahne before he announces his decision, plus perform some magic acts to open the show. After Kahne makes his decision public, he and Weber will collaborate on an illusion that will reveal Kahne's sponsor for the 2011 season and potentially beyond.

Independent sources have told From The Marbles not to rule out Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Penske Racing, Michael Waltrip Racing, Red Bull Racing, Phoenix Racing or even the Miami Heat from being possibilities for Kahne's destination in 2011.

*No, this is not true. Not in the slightest.

HAHAHAHAHAHA that be awesome hahahahaha

Good thing its a joke because nobody would have watched it anyway.

It's really sad how in 2007, Dale Earnhardt Jr didn't get anywhere near the attention as LeBron has gotten this year. Says a lot about what the media thinks about the sport

I did not really care that much about jr and i did not give a rats rear about where Lebron went

Just a guess

I think, judging from the basketball fans I am aware of, all the publicity LaBron has had over this wasn't even known about by his fans.. As the ones I've known don't watch the news.
The news has been poking LaBron this and LaBron that down the throats of folks that were unaware of him, as I was, till this event happened.
Betsy:rolleyes:
