A marine got a letter from his girlfriend back home. It read as

follows:

Dear Stan,

I can no longer continue our relationship. The distance between us is just too great. I must admit that I have cheated on you twice, since you've been gone, and it's not fair to either of us. I'm sorry. Please return the picture of me that I sent to you.

Love, Becky



The Marine, with hurt feelings, asked his fellow Marines for any snapshots they could spare of their girlfriends, sisters, ex-girlfriends, aunts, cousins, etc. In addition to the picture of Becky, Ricky included all the other pictures of the pretty
gals he had collected from his buddies. There were 57 photos in that envelope....along with this note:



Dear Becky,
I'm so sorry, but I can't quite remember who you are. Please take your picture from the pile, and send the rest back to me.

Yo DeeDee, this is like the senate aide (or whatever the technical toim is) whose girlfriend called it a day. He was so offended by her rebuff, he sent her an e-mail telling her she was a back-stabbing, career oriented goal setter who stepped on anyone in her way and he also let her know she would have her name spread all over town as having done unimaginable things. Something like that anyway.

She, in turn, made no reply, BUT, she forwarded his original e-mail to her, to several various and assorted e-mail addresses throughout the political circles in the nation's capitol.

The winner ???? He got fired and to this day, I don't recall it was never made public who the girl is, not that it matters.

Guess he fixed her. RIGHT !!!!!!! Manipulative female !!!!
 
No way did that really happen! LOL How long ago? That is too funny. And yes us woman can be manipulative, but only when men push us too it. :lol: ;)

This was supposed to have taken place in Washington, DC, and the senate aide was employed by Senator Kay Hutchinson from Texas.

Further information on the gal was not forthcoming although it was reported she was also a senate aide but with a different senator.

I guess the guys plan backfired. :D
 
Unfortunately, it is true. I don't rightly remember the exact details, but the young man got a "second chance" with another Senator, but it proved to be too much for the other Senator, therefore the intern was asked to just resign.
