FYI - THE RACE IS ON SPEED ...

On Digger.... most of you know I teach/do therapy with young children. The ones that know I like car racing ask me about Digger. They LOVE Digger, one little girl has a Digger shirt...so if FOX is actually marketing to an under 10 crowd, they're actually being very successful. ;)

FOX has their heads up their asses.

Are they going to move the baseball game over to one of the other 9000 channels that air baseball EVERY night after the 15th inning or the 16th inning?

NASCAR brings in twice as many viewers than any baseball game every week.

Look at the bright side for SPEED, On The Edge's highest ratings ever. :p

The game's over... FOX is at commercials (like always:rolleyes:) and the race is still on SPEED.

I bet John Daly's keyboard is smoking right now.

What a great anthem! And all the wives looked lovely, except for Delamea Harvick, who couldn't be bothered to remove her hat.

She isn't expected to. Only men remove their cover during the anthem.

That goes back to the days when women's hats weighed 50 pounds and took a whole florist's supply to make. ;)

Congress has amazingly addressed your very question in their pamphlet on flag etiquette entitled Our Flag. When in civilian attire, men must remove their hats and hold them at their left shoulder with their right hand over their heart. If they don't have a hat, men should place their right hand, palm open, over their heart. Women (with or without a hat) also need to place their right hand, palm open, over their heart. When in athletic clothing, one is required to face the flag or music, remove any hat or cap and stand at attention; a hand salute is not given.

How many advertisements can you fit into a 20 lap run? a lot

Now they have in-race commercials.

That's why I just said advertisements LOL They have pop-ups, scrolling bars, animated graphics, ASK.com Questions, the Hazmat caution flag, Aarons Lucky Dog... it just never ends

Ok...green flag stops at lap 90-ish....I'm looking for some good racing....

good news is it looks like the rain might not be a factor

3 wide.....dont work

48 will regret not getting the brake line fixed...

Doesn't look like Jimmie's going to go 4 for 5 at Richmond. :growl:

I hate the lucky dog. You just can't lap nearly as many people as you could before. I think there only being 10 or 11 guys on the lead lap

WTG Jimmie, for running over the gopher!
clap.gif

Jimmie is now two laps down. Half way and the Dodge is holding it's own... :growl:

I hate Brian Vickers, man. He's always in the way. Never contending, he's just there wasting track space every week.

LOL Wild Thing moved Vickers... it's about time.

"I'm gonna take care of the 83 if he won't take care of himself" LOL.

I love short track racing. :)

83 is the rolling roadblock.

whatever mistake the 11 crew just made done just might've cost him the race.

****.

Every time Harvick has a top 10 run going, a Goodyear tire blows.

Nice job Hornish. Damn Penske drivers are pests, all 3 of them:mad:

Dang inclement weather. No good viewing of the race, it's in a little box while the weathermen are telling us about Tornado warnings across the state.

At least your station puts it in a box.

FOX5 completely screwed me out of the 2003 Daytona 500. "Blizzard 2003" coverage because 5 inches constitutes a blizzard.:sarcasm:
