Got tired of pissy attitudes and the derogatory names being flung around.

Settle down --- agree to disagree and try to keep it civil..

And, NO, I do NOT enjoy removing posts/threads, but it comes with the job.

Nothing deteriorates a forum like poisoned threads. Thanks for the clean-up TRL. I hope some members got a stern warning, too.

Many thanks TRL.

Getting greedy, I wish the threads were more consolidated.

For example if someone thinks the driver Cooter Johnsons Juniors the III is a jerk, a moron, and married to his sister, why cant it be done on just one thread, and not four.

Thread #...

1.Cooter Johnsons Juniors the III is a jerk

2.Cooter Johnsons Juniors the III is a moe-ron

3. DNA confirms Cooter Johnsons Juniors the III married his sister.

4. Yeah, CJJs III is a jerk, moe-ron, inbreeder, but still he shore can drive.....

All the thread hopping to say essentially the stuff says more about the OP in my opinion.

Many thanks TRL.

I know there was something I didn't like about Cooter:D

Yeah, It ebbs and flows.

I've lurked here for years and remember one time when Mayfield was often referred to as Mayfail until someone posted Tony Stewrat and started a firestorm.

It's not often threads get deleted here, but when the do they deserve to be. The mods here are very good an letting us speak our minds.
I mostly lurk in the shadows now. We admin staff give everybody some fairly long leashes, but be warned, there are choker collars at the end ;)

Now that I think about this, we must've been really bad to force TRL into deleting a thread. I don't ever recall that happening.

In the years I have been here, and made a few regrettable comments along the way, have found this forum to be fair and lenient by comparison to others which go to extremes on either side of the spectrum. But there is a line drawn and the best part is, it is doubtful any of us know where or what that line is.

Congratulations to ALL the moderators for putting up with some of the insanity, rants, raves, personal irrational comments and at times, tolerating thoughtless, tasteless remarks.

Giving credit where is due to ALL the moderators (Yes, Mag, that includes you too, Sweet Pea) In the immortal, paraphrased words of the late chicken magnate, Frank Perdue, "It takes a tough person to make a tender chicken."

You owe me a new keyboard, Whiz.

Those damn Ford fans...:D

I didn't say damn but I did think about it.

I grew up in a family of four boys. My father and my brothers were Ford followers. I was always the rebel and loved GM. I kicked my siblings backsides almost every time. :beerbang:
