Okay so right now Im bored and decided to try to come up with a new game. Not sure if it will catch on but that's okay.

So we all know how Kyle Petty does his 6 degrees of Danica all the time to make his pick for the week on RaceDay. I think something like this might be fun..

I'll start now by just giving a random fact or stat having to do with something in NASCAR. Then the next person does the same thing but the two have to be linked somehow...

Example:

"Tony Stewart won his first championship in 2002 driving the #20 car for JGR"

then someone would put something like..

"JGR has 111 Cup Series wins"

"JGR's first cup win was in 1993 when Dale Jarrett won the Daytona 500"

.. then someone can use anything having to do with JGR, 1993, Dale Jarrett, first Cup Series wins or the Daytona 500 to come up with a random fact or stat to continue the chain.

I'm hoping it will end up being a bit more intricate and that people can find interesting ways to link things together.

I'll start with this:

In 1951, Herb Thomas won the Cup Series Championship driving 4 different cars for 4 different owners, in 3 different manufacturers and only running in 34 of 41 races.

The raffle to win Jeff Gordon's personal Corvette to benefit Jeff Gordon's Children Foundation just ended.

Jeff Gordon's Children Foundation was founded in 1999, the same year that Dale Jarrett won the Winston Cup Championship.

Sheriff Woody Pride, the lead character in the movie Toy Story, was voiced by Thomas (Tom) Hanks who, unlike Hank Thomas, didn't compete in the 1966 Volunteer 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The 1966 Volunteer 500 was won by Paul Goldsmith, who competed in NASCAR'S top series for 11 years.

Hahahaha all these comments about boobs made me giggle like an 11 year old boy ;)

Paul Goldsmith is still alive today at the ripe age of 88.

88 is Dale Jr's current number, or 11x his old number!

Cale Yarborough won the last of his three straight championships in 1978.

JH's namesake died in a truck series crash that doesnt look that bad until you realize it was smack dab on the driver's side.

Only the top 10 chasers will make the post-season ceremonies at Las Vegas this coming December.
