I stayed up until almost 2:00am watching game 7 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets last night. That was a really great game. Lots of ebbs and flows and some really physical basketball being played, particularly inside. The Lakers big men, Pao Gasol and Andrew Bynum, really stepped it up after Kobe basically challenged their manhoods after they did virtually nothing in the previous two games. Amazingly enough, Kobe didn't take a lot of shots, or even have a particularly great game offensively. But, they were getting enough from the big men and Steve Blake that Kobe focused on getting good looks for them and playing some pretty hard nosed defense. Metta (guy's head with my elbow) World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, returned from suspension and gave them a lot on the defensive end also. The Nuggets played really hard in this series and even in Game 7. It was a shame they had to lose.
