Game six; bottom of the ninth,

tThe 2011 World Series is now in the hands of a man selected in the 1988 draft.

Bottom of the 10th, 2 on, 0 outs for the Cardinals.

An instant classic.

Sports will always exceed any reality show on tv in my book - and this game is just proof of that.

My team's not in it, so I have no rooting interest.
Just hope game 7 is a good one, but it's gonna be hard to top today's game.
Wow.

what a game. the cardinals sure look like a team destined to win the 2011 world series. you just can't keep them down.

Hey, thanks for helping me relive a very painful experience. It's ok though if the Rangers still win tonight.

As a diehard Indians fan I remember what it was like when Jose Freaking Mesa had a one run lead with one out in the 9th inning of game 7 of the 1997 World Series and couldn't manage to get the two more outs that would have given this area it's first championship in 30+ years. It's still pretty painful.

I'm a big Rangers fan but it's not like they are my hometown team. The Browns, Cavs and Indians have just broken our hearts so many times it's almost hard to put into words. Dallas just won the NBA Championship so it's not like the fans haven't won anything in 40+ years like us. But, it's still gotta really hurt to be one damn strike away from a title in two straight innings. That's gotta really suck. It sucks for me and I'm not even from there. I just really like Josh Hamilton so I started watching their games whenever I could and have just grown to really like just about every player on the team.

congrats to the cardinals for winning the world series. :) the rangers played admirably but it's just not their time...yet. they will be there again next year.

The Washington Senators left Washington to go to Texas decades ago.

The team that knocked the Braves out, allowing St. Louis to make the playoffs: The Washington Nationals.

Now you don't have to look it up, because I already did.
