Garage cam shows

oh, don't say that 4 letter word! I've been watching Speed's Race Day, it does not look promising :(
 
It's my fault, Everytime I get a chance to watch a Saturday night race it rains on my parade. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:confused:
 
Looking at the radar, it doesn't look good. NASCAR will try to get half in tonight.

Why they don't call it now and run the whole thing tomorrow. I know how the fans will feel if they run half the race, knowing rain is everywhere.
 
we're listening to the radio broadcast via NASCAR.com (Fox has baseball on), they're still talking about getting the race in.
 
IF they do call it off, I'd say it won't be run until Monday. After all, Mom's Day is not race day.
 
For those who have the ability to know what's going on in Darlington, keep us updated. I haven't seen anything else on the TV since Fox has baseball on, which is also getting rained on!

Since they are already at the track, and weather permits they will race tomorrow. I hope they get the race in tonight. I love night racing.
 
WOHOOOO a rousing episode of Cops.:rolleyes: Meyers says the rain is easing up and they can race all night if need be.
 
Anyone remember the Allstar race a few years ago that they started very late? I don't remember anything about the race except that it started super late but we stayed up to watch in a "too much invested to quit" kind of way.

Was that the one where they started in the rain? Several cars wrecked and they let them get backup cars out and Gordon won in his backup car?

I was there. Loved every minute of it. All my Earnhardt fans didn't take so kindly to it.

This year will be the first All-Star race I have missed in 10 years.

You stayed through the rain for race? Good for you! We would have stayed if we were there, too.

I stayed and was I ever glad I did. Gordon won. I usually put my poncho on and sit in the rain. I can't stand to get under the stands too many people crowded in. We sat out at Bristol spring 2006 in the snow with our poncho's on.
