When we bought the house in may, there was no access ladder (only the door to my closet), minimal decking, no insulation, no radiant barrier and little else.
We added 5 sheets of decking, radiant barriered the whole attic with 28 mil foil, and blew in 20 bags of greenfiber insulation. Then we added our own electrical circuit to the garage (120 and 240), an attic ladder, a ceiling fan, a bench light, compressed air lines, built a second workbench, and put sconces on the garage door pillars (our house was the only house on the block without any).
