Dirty rotten scoundrels!!!

Anticipating a hike in price before the holiday weekend I filled both trucks Thursday @ $3.89/9, which was the lowest it's been in a while.

Friday drove by the same stations, $3.75/9. Double sumbeechs. Today back to $3.85/9. I have never seen, or perhaps noticed price increases ocurring on the weekends.

btw, little over 52 gallons, over $200!:eek:
 
Well don't have a link but heard that the government sold 4billion barrels of oil out of the governments 7billion stash then waited till prices were getting high then who ever bought it then put it on the market and that's why the prices fell for a while. But the company that bought the oil bought for way below market prices and made a huge prophet still.

would love to read more on this if you can find a link. 4 billion out of 7 billion barrels? the strategic oil reserve is only 727 million barrels. where are the billions coming from?
