Gaughan and Penske

What's the latest word on Gaughan and the 77 car? Has there been an announcement as to when they might give the final word? I feel like I'm really in the dark on this one.
 
So am I, however if Brendan does throw his hat into the 2004 Rookie of the Year Contest, it will probably be one of the best Rookie Battles NASCAR has ever seen.
 
I totally agree. I thought it would be a decent rookie season without, but with Gaughan, it'll be a well rounded field. Gaughan just has great charisma and brings that energy onto the trackl; I can see him jumping out and having a stellar rookie year.
 
Something has been folding this up, not sure what it is. But this has been rumored for some time without an announcement.

Jayski says that something should be announced this week.

The rumor has it that Roger Penske is going to be buying half of the Jasper team and will switch them to Dodge. The Numer is also exspected to change to #72 ( should go to #62 since that is Brendons Truck Number) and That Brendon will be the driver of the car with Kodak as the new sponsor.

So in recap Brendon Gaughn more than likely will be driving the Penske-Jasper #72 Kodak Dodge Intrepid R/T.


I like Brendon, hate to see him leave the trucks, gonna have to find a new driver in the trucks.
 
I thought they were going to dodge anyway since they lost ford support
