Atomic Motor Speedway has announced the 2004 inductees into the Atomic Hall of Fame on Oct. 23-24. They inductees are:
Freddy Smith, the Southern Gentleman with over 780 feature wins.
Gene Glover, won many feature wins and titles and the father of Tony Glover.
Dwight Amos, former track official under Atomic's original owner Bob Martin.
Tom Crass, long-time Atomic official and pit boss that was tragically killed on April 25.
Gene Glover's induction will be Saturday night, October 23. Tony Glover, team manager for Ganassi Racing and son of Gene, has promised to attend. Since he will be in Martinsville on Sunday afternoon, Gene will be inducted Saturday night. Freddy Smith, Dwight Amos, and Tom Crass will be inducted Sunday, October 24. Additional information for each inductee will be posted early next week on Atomic's web site.
The Hall of Fame 100 will be Oct. 23-24 paying $10,000 to the winner. More details on the race program will be announced in the coming days.
