George Michael pop superstar dead, was 53 y/o.

2016 just needs to go ahead and get over with. It's already taken Prince, David Bowie, Merle Haggard, and now George Michael. RIP George.
 
I dont want to be a phony, I wasn't a big fan of the music. I am sure it was great for many, just not my thing.

But the following story deserves the respect imo.

I dont think one has to secretive about their philanthropy, but his desire to do that commands my respect. There is something pure about doing it just because it is right, and avoiding any of the self promotion that could be so easily attached to the deed.

I also do not have any of his music in my library but I recognize his contributions to the music industry and to the humanitarian causes that he supported.
 
Weirdly that morning I randomly started singing wake me up before you go go in the shower...then that night I heard he died.
