oh i hate it when they are lapped and they stay in the way. he should let gordon thru so he and jr. can race.
sits to watch the last few laps.:lurk:

They both were in the way..........but, I'm not going to blast them for being where they were!! They were racing for every inch they could get.......it's up the faster cars to get around them or get them out of the way!! Jr did it in both situations!! Yeehaw!! :D :beerbang:

in the end he moved out himself, i am always glad to see good sportsmanship. and it was shown.

I completely agree. Move over!!!

But if certain drivers (not mentioning any Viagra names or anything...) make the exact same request you guys just made, he's a whiner.

I just don't get it...

erm, no my feeling is that the lead drivers have already lapped ya, then get out of their way when they are the ones really racing, the others are just trying to finish the race for points or cash and have no chance of winning.

In the recent and not so recent past, many drivers have come from more than one lap down to win races. My feeling is...if there's no rule against it than do whatever it takes - esp those who don't have superior equipment to run around with all day.

I have to agree. :growl:

My only reation to this is that Jr had already run away from Sterlin, therefore Sterlin had no chance to get back around him to get his lap back. If Jeff was the leader and Sterlin was trying to stay on the lead lap or get back on the lead lap I could and would understand that. But when the leader has already run away and all your doing is running the second place car really hard, holding him on the outside the only thing you're doing is letting the leader get away and possibly preventing the 2nd place car any opportunity to get to the leader.

Amen Eagle1!!!!!!! And Marks situation and this one were entirely different!!!
Mark "asked" for the slower car to move; Jeff didn't say one word about Sterlin, he just tried to deal with it, as should a few of these posters here.
And if you read USA Today, you will find that Jr was quite complimentary about Jeff!!!! Said if there is a driver he would be most happy to be able to beat, it would be Jeff Gordon. He respects and admires Jeff, and I am darn sure that is mutual!!!!! :p :dpepsi: B) :booya:

Personally, I don't care what DEJr. has to say about anything and I hope Marlin continues to race 'em all for every inch...no matter who you are.
