Getting ready for the new Nascar season

I bought 2 new Kurt shirts. woooooooo I will be ready to cheer him on for Daytona.


Are you ordering any new merchandise for the new season?
 
I'm surprised Kurt sold them. ;)

It could be a crazy year. I don't buy merchandise other than what is offered for charity.

Just kidding. These are actually my first shirts of his I've bought. They just say Kurt Busch on them and no 41 on them, just in case he doesn't work out there. I still have a coat with Sharpie on it from his Roush days. I wasted my money on that coat.
 
The 500 can't get here fast enough. Next week the 3 goodwrench flag goes back up the flag pole at the end of the driveway with the chevy bowtie flag too. can't wait to hear start your engines.
 
Yeah I have a couple home depot Tony #20 shirts. I wear them every once in a while to see if anybody is paying attention. Most don't know the difference, but if I get a strange stare, it is a good conversation starter.

sometimes I'm way off. Somehow I read "2 new Kurt skirts". lol

My best friend loves Tony but hates Kurt. We stay away from talking about Kurt very much.

Believe it or not, I'm not too hyped up about the 500. Never really been besides the fact that its the start of the season.

As far as the race itself goes its a wash.

The second race has always been the true start as far as points racing is all about but then again with all these changes a win to start off will 100% lock you into the joke of a chase.

One of the guys I shoot with still wears a black and yellow Kenseth DeWALT 17 ball cap. He may not be ready for this season…………………..

Honestly I don't buy that kind of merchandise as car numbers and drivers in certain cars change so much that the shirts become invalid and you find yourself placing them in a closet for the rest of their eternity. I prefer diecast cars since they have move resale value and it's always cool to set up stop motion races with them :p
 
I would, but last time I ordered a hat from the nascar shop it took 3 months to get to my doorstep. I'll stick with the old faithful sundried & saltwater infused Chevrolet hat I already own

Exactly, that is why the shirts I worse just say Kurt Busch and don't have any numbers on them. *nodding*

Scored my first shipment of TRD stuff a couple of weeks ago. Couple of t-shirts, watch, and coat. Locked and loaded. Let's freakin' do this.
 
I wear my Mark Martin Viagra jacket to the mall sometimes . I love to watch the girls glance down , then look up... redfaced . Finally gettin my moneys worth out of that damn jacket.:)

What's with the nitrile gloves, are those 'evidence'?

This thread got me thinking, so I dug into the pile and found two of my best ($$$) hats are a blue and white Newman Alltel 12 (better half's kid wanted it - eyeroll), and Dale Jr. Budweiser 8 in black (still wear that one). I have a TON of event shirts and hats, stuff like 'Indy 500 (with year)', or the race/track shirt. They seem to make more sense.
