Since there has been talk of newbies, older members having cliques and other things, I thought it might be fun, or torture depends on what you think, if we got to know each other a little better. That way people would know a little bit even if it is just weird stuff about other people on the board. Brillant idea or stupid impulse, I will let you be the judge. So answer the questions you want too, omit any you don't care too, and have fun. I will answer later on, to make copying and pasting easier, if people actually respond. :D

Well now. The who was a young beauty named Karen. The where was, I think, at school in the library of all places. The hows are a closely guarded trade secret.


5. Have you ever been married?

Yes, and engaged again.


6. What are you most proud of?

My college degree. I am the first and still only person on either side of my family to get one.



7. Favorite beverage?

Coors Light or Mountain Dew, depending on the situation.


8. Do you pay attention to politics? (Probably wise not to go into them here)

Avidly. Staunch Republican and don't care who knows it.


9.What's the single worst thing you've ever done on purpose?

Besides getting married, probably the decision not to move back to the area I grew up in after finishing college. Instead I stayed in the Nashville area for 8 years before coming back. I regret every second I was gone tremendously.

10. What is the coolest place you have ever been or coolest thing you have ever done?

Coolest place would be backstage at the Aerosmith/Ted Nugent show in 1986.
Coolest thing, without going into a long boring story, would be some of the times when I worked as a mental health therapist, and being able to touch the lives of some very desperate people.

I guess since a few people answered, I can give my answers.

No tattoos yet, I want one just not sure where or what.

Middle child, although I am kinda the oldest since my older brother is my half-brother.

3. Name your single favorite musical performer

I don't know. My taste in music is eclectic so I don't have a definite favorite.

It was a sad first kiss, from an annoying boy who stalked me and it pains me to think about it. LOL. Really it was just a kiss and run kind of thing that I went and told the teacher about. I was such a tattletale.

5. Have you ever been married?

No and don't really plan on it anytime soon or maybe not at all.

6. What are you most proud of?

This will sound stupid, but graduating from high school with honors. Only a few people on both sides of my family have graduated from high school and none with honors so I feel real proud that I stuck it out even when I wanted to quit and graduated. Once I graduate from college, that will be what I am most proud of.

Diet Dr. Pepper or Strawberry Margaritas depending on my mood.

Yes, I like to know what politicians are planning on doing and how it will effect me. Politics are actually interesting to me and I love to know what is going on in the world.

I used to backstab people in middle school. I would get caught in the middle of friends fighting so I would say well so and so say this and talk about people behind their backs. Not my best moments. Luckily I learned better.

10. Where is the coolest place you have ever been or coolest thing you have ever done?

Coolest place would have to be Turkey. It was a real culture shock, but everything was just really amazing over there. The ruins and history are just so bountiful, I think that is the word I want. Coolest thing I have ever done, haven't done anything too exciting. I drove a dog sled once.

Like I said before I am double jointed in my fingers, I can bend them in half at the knuckle joint and pop them, place a pencil in the bent joint, pop, and send the pencil flying. That is my weird party trick and talent. I have a few other stupid talents but none I really brag about.

I try to. Sometimes with all the crap they say I give up, but I do my best to stay interested.

Probably going behind friend's back. I've learned since then thankfully, and have a different approach. Illegally I've been caught with a ton of fireworks, considering they are illegal in PA.

I haven't gone anywhere cool, just Myrtle Beach every year.

-- I've become a rarity...30 yrs old, never been married, no kids, & I'm heterosexual.

-- That I've been able to take care of myself no matter what. I'm a survivor.

-- Depending on my mood & the weather, it could be beer or hot coco.

-- I keep up to date on current events going on politically.

-- Moved away from home when I was 19. I didn't have to move, didn't have to pay rent, and didn't owe anyone a dime. (sigh) If I knew then what I know now!!

-- To date the only thing that comes to mind right now is going to the Penske x-mas party last yr. Was pretty cool to have Roger Penske tap me on the arm to get my attention and introduce himself. I've been blessed to have good friends and good times in my life. There's plenty more to mention but this is the most recent that comes to mind.

-- I've never been talented when it comes to music or art, but I play one mean game of pool. Was at a bar last sat night for a few hrs and never lost a game. :p

Glad people are answering and having fun. :D Learning some very interesting things. BTW, ksurocks try the pencil thing with your fingers, it really impresses people at the same time grossing them out. Kinda junior highish, but fun nonetheless.
