I'm hoping now for a loss of Miami from either Syracuse or Virginia Tech so that the Sooners can play the Buckeyes for the title. However, I don't think the Hurricanes are going to lose either of those two games. I'll be rootin for yer boys in that case. :)
 
They've had some close games of late and anything can happen. The Buckeyes also had some close calls as well, but pulled them all out. That's the mark of Champions. Them Hokies can add a lot of excitment if they come to play.
 
Virginia Tech has a shot at beating them. It's not much of a shot, but they got one. It sucks that Washington State lost to Washington though. I was hoping the Bucks would get a rematch with them.

I have to say that I would like to see Miami and Ohio play. I think it would be a good game.:)
 
I think Miami and Ohio State would be a pretty good game. I'm sure Miami would be a large favorite, but nothing seems to bother these Buckeyes. Maurice Clarett has like five weeks to get completely healthy. He can be the difference maker. Just ask that team from up north.
 
I ain't seen nobody can stay with Miami yet. And I don't like them. But facts is facts. Right now, they are the best team in college football.
 
Actually, Florida State stayed with them and if they had a kicker would have beaten them. I'm not sure I agree with you that they are the nation's best. Also, just because a team goes undefeated doesn't make them the best. Only in NCAA division I football.
 
Well, they have three more games to play before they are through for the season. We do know one thing for sure, if they win all three, they will be the champs. If they lose one and it isn't the last one, they won't even play for the title. Here's the thing I like about it all. I'm glad that OSU is in the final. That leave at the moment, Miami in line for a shot at em. If they lose one of the next two games, it will probably give Oklahoma a shot at the Bucks. Of course, that's the scenario I want because of the history between OU and OSU. On the other hand, had OSU lost yesterday, that would have put OU back into the hunt against Miami. The history there isn't in favor of OU. I don't recall OU ever beating Miami. Speaking of history, I remember when I was in high school, OU was playing Tennessee in the Orange Bowl. I don't think it was for the National Championship, but the game was really tight and I believe it came down to a kick by Tennessee. If they made it, they win. They didn't and we cheered loudly. :) I remember the same scenario with OSU not all that long ago. But like I said, Miami just has OU's number. :(
 
Are you saying if OSU wins you have to use a Buckeye avatar for a week and if Miami wins I have to use a Volunteer avatar for a week?
 
No. First off, I absolutely HATE the Vols.

Here's the deal. If Miami loses a game, you pick my avatar for a week. If Miami doesn't, I pick yours. Beginning with the next game they play.
 
Allright TN, you are on. I fugure if OSU loses I will be in such a deep depression, I may have to go underground for a week or so anyway.:satisfied

Oh 4x's I think I told you all to be careful what you wished for, huh. I am not gonna say that Miami is unbeatable, every team can have an off day or meet their match. I just haven't seen Miami's match yet.:p

My beloved Florida State was their match, but they missed a field goal at the end of the game. If they hadn't shanked that kick, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
 
So, we are going to play "what if"??? Florida State is known for choking on that final second to win the game.
 
We wouldn't be having this conversation either if the ref wasn't blind and called back that touchdown when Ohio State played Penn State, huh?
 
And if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his @ss when he jumped either.
