WOW, I didn't know he was out in front! I've been pretty busy lately so I haven't been able to keep up too well.
 
Yeah, it would be nice to see him win. I could live with that.

He's a small team, dumps all his money into his car, isn't a big mouth and is a fantastic driver.
 
Family members were saying it was planned for only a few laps. It was decided on Monday to be in it. They knew he couldn't be competitive.
 
Either way it was awesome to see him up there. Absolutely loved it.
 
Any body that once put a 'hex' on Earnhardts car before a race is all right with me! True story----though I have no idea which race it was.Anybody else remember this?
 
That will be his last race in a cup car at Daytona, i saw it an interview with him the other day, out side of racing in the trucks at Daytona.....his racing will be limitted severely. I think he is going to focus on helping his brothers and doing a lot of motovational speaking. I used to always cheer against him when he drove the #1 modified at Stafford , but after i met the guy personally, i realizied he is an awesome person. Great driver and a great representative for the sport. I'd like to see him up in the booth replacing Bestwicks butt!

Well I made it before the race. I just didn't post untill after the race. Thats called covering your butt. :D :D :D
 
I am allright with Geoffry but I really don't like Todd or Brett Bodine. Geoffry really needs to help out them two. They wreck almost every week that they race, or wreck someone else on accident ( ex. Ward Burton ).
 
Ward22. Todd got into two accidents last year. Are you sure you're not just repeating things other people say?
 
Well I was watching almost everyrace last year, and saw more than a few times good ol Todd caused wrecks. Sometimes you don't have to be involved in the wreck to cause it. You just drive away watching in your mirror at the mess you cause! Can't say I live Todd, or Brett. Geoffry is ok, nothing special in my book. Would have been nice to see him win, but DJ winning would have been better.
 
I remember a few wrecks Stewart caused, and Jarrett, and Gordon and Earnhardt. They all do.

Just not sure why it's popular to pick on anyone Bodine. I think most people are just parroting things they hear all the time.
 
Not parrotting anyone, I know others cause or have wrecks, it's the nature of the sport sometimes. Everyone is going to get caught up in the game at one time. DJ has caused his share as with everydriver out there. They also take the blame 95% of the time. Don't see Bodine's do that. They like to pass the buck so to speak. Guess that's why they don't float my boat.
 
I see your point sgbg88, I just try to not give them such a raw deal all the time. I don't think they're as bad as people always say.
 
I don't think their bad people, I've never met them personely. I just don't take to their driving style. It's bad to me when someone gets next to your driver your rooting for and you cringe thinking get away from him. Bodine's make me feel that way! It's just not them either, there are other drivers I feel the same way. Racing has to be hard enough without worrying what some bonehead might pull running right beside you! :)
 
I think Brett is a good guy as well. He is nice, and he loves what he does. If he got someone to run the team instead of himself he might do better. I really think that Brett should let Hooters buy into the team with a clause sayign that Brett has to be a driver for te team for X amount of years. If not that then Get Geoffry to run the team!! He knows how to run a team he ran the #7 after Alan died.
