GO RANGERS!!! (World Series thread)

Errors and Lee having his frist bad game of the playoffs really did the Rangers in. I think they will bounce back in game 2, at least I hope so, I'm favoring the Rangers, but I really like both teams that are in it.
 
whoda thunk this game would be a hitters game. being an old cardinals fan (gibson era) i'm glad cliff lee didn't get the win but never expected a hitfest from the giants.
 
This game was really unexpected. Cliff Lee was due for a bad postseason game, but that was unreal. Lincecum is great, but I kind of expected the Rangers to score some runs. The Rangers can really hit and run.

I love Rangers, but I really like the Giants too so I won't be crushed either way. I do want the Rangers to win though and there is still a long way to go in this series.
 
I like Josh Hamilton so Hoping the Rangers win it, but Cody Ross is a pretty damn good player too. I hope it goes 7 and is decided in the bottom of the ninth!

If it goes to game 7 and decided bottom of the 9th then the Giants win;)

Neither did I. That was a pretty decent game last night.

On a side note, a friend of mine has been watching on MLB International overseas. Lucky bastard gets to listen to the commentary of Gary Thorne.
 
I figured this game to be a close battle and Rangers get the win, didn't see that coming.

me either. i expected the rangers to have a strong outing last night but their hitting has been almost non-existent. i liked one of the comments near the end of the game. the giants were winning on pitching, the rangers pitching. <g> the bullpen and hitting have let the rangers down.

don't mean to take anything away from the giants. they are playing great and deserve to be ahead in the series.

Yeh i hear ya.... Rangers will have to take next game or they are done I'm afraid.
 
That was a really good game for about 5 innings. I am happy for the Giants and would be a lot happier if it wasn't coming at the expense of the Rangers. I still think the Rangers can win the series, but it will be pretty tough to win 4 out of 5. Either way it's been a magical season for the Rangers and the Giants.

I agree....never thought those 2 would be in it back in April.
 
Game 3 was a good game. The Rangers played well and it was an entertaining game. Good pitching and a few homers and now we have a series.

totally agree. i'm enjoying this series more than any i've seen in a long time. hope it goes to a game seven.
