Starting a new job with a new employer tomorrow. I've known this man for about 5 years and worked under him when he was my foreman. He's been known to try to work me to death in the past. He talked me into working for him when he got busy....well, he says he's busy. So now I have to live up to my end of the bargain. Besides, the employer I'm leaving has been very slow lately.........thought cutie and I might starve before it picked back up again. Anyway, got to get a good night's sleep before I go to work with my slave driver friend tomorrow.

he woke up at 5am........was out the door 630am or so............
I was going to make chicken tonight, but being the sweet guy he is...he said let's just have hot dogs and mac and cheese........so I said ok...........

Had a decent day today. The man I'm working for now, I've known for five years. Worked with him (and for him when he was my foreman on a few jobs) for all but the last year. He got his Electrical Contractor's license a couple years ago and set out on his own the first part of last year. When he left the company we were working for at that time, he told me that when things picked up to the point that he could pay me what I wanted that he would call me. He actually didn't call me......I called him because the old employer was really slow and couldn't say when things would get busy again (typical construction stuff during economic slow downs). He said he had lots of work out there but most was not really ready yet but that he could keep me at least as busy as I've been.......not hard since I really haven't worked all that much since just before Christmas. I'm taking a little bit of a chance but he's pretty confident that in a couple maybe three weeks he going to be way more busy than now. He's a friend......I can trust him to at least tell it like it is. Anyway, he really didn't work me that hard today.......easy job that we will probably finish by Wed at the latest. Then something down in Orange County (close to Kat's daughter's neck of the woods). The working me to death will come when things get busy........he's a certified work-a-holic and he expects everyone else to be one too. He's not unreasonable though. So thanks for all the good wishes on my new job.......though, in this case it was more like going back to an old job (we've worked together for so long, we know what we are thinking).
And Kat, I got to sleep in till 5 am........will do it again tomorrow morning too.
