Might as well take an early refund and sell your tickets.

I'm thinking Dover doesn't sell 75% of its seats this year. Their prices are higher than Richmond's ticket prices are. Plus, there are a lot of people in that area holding out for next weekend's ARCA race.

Dover's a really nice facility. The racing, meh, you don't know what you're paying for. Like I've said 100 times before on here; I've seen some really good races at Dover (primairly 2006 when Burton broke the winless streak) and I've seen some real snoozers at Dover (2004 when Newman won).

Not going this time, even if someone handed me free tickets. The g.d. oil companies are raping us now $3.82/gal.

Three races left for me:
ARCA @ New Jersey
The Maryland Legend is back - US Pro Stock Open :beerbang:

...and, hopefully...

Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Dover is one track I wish I could go to one time. It's a long way from my house, but maybe I'll come up with a trip up there one of these days.

Dover is one track I would stretch the budget for --- I really enjoyed my one visit.

Watching those cars fall off the cliff into the turn is breath-taking.

Best seats I've ever had at any track are in between turns 3 and 4. If I go to another race at Dover or Richmond, that's where I'm sitting. Frontstretch is totally overrated.

Glad you like Dover. I'm just iffy about it myself. Once the quirky COT is figured out and improved upon, the racing will get better. Until then, Dover needs to add cots instead of seats.

Sometimes I think they should cut the race length to 300 miles. 400 miles at Dover takes a long time to complete.
