If another ticket shows up I'm there...(nice guy)...Love Richmond.

and the Saturday race too.

Richmond is a fantastic place to watch a race. You are right on top of the action --- no matter where it is.

Sitting at the exit of pit road, you should have a good view of the front stretch and Turn 2 --- Turn 2 is usually where all the action happens.

ENJOY yourself ! !

TRL, the only time we went there, all the action was in turns three and four. We sat right in turn 2 and actually was a bit disappointed in where we sat. We couldn't see the pits at all but had a straight shot at the backstretch. The huge TV there on the backstretch helped a bunch though. This is the race where our scanner battery decided to die permanantly and so we started the race off with a sour note. But we did enjoy the race.

The problem I have with Richmond it seems to have more than its share of ignorant rednecks wanting to draw attention to themselves than some of the other tracks.

You haven't seen Kentucky then.

Sorry Lappy, nothing personal .......... I have had more trouble there than any other track.

I go to Richmond for the Busch Series race every year. I've got Nextel Grandstand Busch tickets for the NBS race on Friday. A lot to do at RIR. They have concerts there, plus the Chevy Fan Experience is always a blast.

Hoping I can get Nextel Cup tickets pretty cheap. :bounce:

I LOVE Richmond. You'll have a blast!

P.S.: Friday is a lot of fun there.

Well, yeah, that's anywhere in this area though. I live about 70 miles away from Richmond and 30 miles from DC. When you go into Waldorf, it's very ghetto and that's when you know you're in the DC area. But 20 miles south, once you get into La Plata, you get into Hicktown with some of these rednecks that seem to make this area like the "Ignorance is bliss foundation." Way too many racial problems around here.

Hey Andy, wanna move here? All my friends are river mudding redneck folk. Every monday at least one or the other, if not both, roll into the school parking lot with mud halfway up the windows. One even broke his spare tire mount on his truck, bent it out of the way by hand, finished the day of mudding and fishing, came home, and torched it off.

Oh yea, and the other proudly displays his rebelness anytime he's not at school. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten himself shot yet.

I drive an SUV and it's the damn ugliest thing you will ever see. :D

My biggest gripe came when my boss threw a fit over my Kevin Harvick jacket. That's unprofessional and blah blah blah. I know a lot of people who think it's very professional. Now, they're mad about the "NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES" bumper sticker on my SUV. So, I've got one on order:

"My SUV Loves Iraqi Oil." :XXROFL:

Now, this is a school district that tried to suspend me for wearing a Mark Martin VIAGRA shirt because I wore it to be sexually suggerstive and know nothing about racing. :eyeroll:

Well there was a study just released that said DC was 1/3 illiterate.
Of course they failed to take into account that Congress was in session at the time.
