Riding with Tiger is a lot like getting on a plane with Harrison Ford piloting...it might not kill you...but it will be an adventure

is there a Super Bonehead award? 1.3 Billion networth and you don't have a permanent professional driver with you at all times? With the history of your problems with driving?

I don't feel bad for Tiger Woods, I feel bad for Charlie Woods who will be the one that has to deal with this from friends and the like.

Sad story really, things were going great for a while. Flee'ing the country, the embarrassment level must be very high. Hope he gets the help and off the clear addiction to the prescriptions and whatever else, but this is just a sad story rn.

It has to be tough watching his Dad self destruct and it would be hard to find any positives from the situation. But maybe it will make him even more determined as a young man to always remain clean and sober.

As crazy as it sounds I have seen cases were a child or younger sibling has seen enough to avoid the same mistakes. I hope that is the case for young Charlie.

I can honestly say I decided to never touch anything after seeing my older brother wasted on ludes and many other things. I don't even socially drink. I have saw enough of his horror show while I was still in high school and I never forgot.

I think Tiger needs to be held responsible for putting lives in danger on the road, for an addiction and choices that have probably caused a lot of pain for the people close to him.

But I am not without any sympathy. There are some addicts I have known all my life and they eventually will burn enough bridges to isolate themselves into a very lonely world after their youth and health is gone.

I just hope that along with handling all the responsibilities or accountability, that Tiger finds some peace and gets well. It is a selfish life full of bad choices but there is an internal living hell that goes along with being controlled by the addiction.
I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.

I think that's all any of us can hope for at this point. and certainly nobody is perfect thru life. hoping he lands on better times.

I think he's one of those people who devoted their entire life to a single goal, and then begins to see it slipping away. His body will no longer do what he asks, partially because he habitually rushed back before he was ready. Now he's left with nothing else to do. See DW, although his was a much lesser level.

Agreed and the Oxycodone type of pain killers they prescribe can be very addictive. I have had a lot of injuries and a few surgeries but I always tried to avoid that stuff. I wouldn't even have the prescriptions filled after the first surgery and initial script.
I didn't want to find out how hard it would be to ween myself off of the stuff.

I agree for the most part. DW can rub some people the wrong way, and he drove to long past past his prime, but he eventually found a healthy alternative in the booth and I think he was ready to totally check out afterwards.

To the best of my knowledge he was more of a family man and that probably helped to keep him straight or be less self destructive. He stayed with Stevie through it all and never did the mid life crisis chasing the youngest thing (again to the best of my knowledge). I respect the integrity.
