What a freaking joke this was
Does that mean the "bonehead move of the race" award also goes to Stewart and Zipadelli for the call that eventually took out two more chase contenders ???? Sure Tony and company had the right to make the decision as they did, and it cost them. And others. But Dr. Punch was really fast to give Tony the good award and should have been equally effusive in his castration of the team for the negative impact it had on the final results in both the race and the chase.
Dr. Punch, but I have a hard time getting past the days when you announced with ESPN and Earnhardt was a personal friend, something you never let any of us forget. Constant babble about that driver was unprofessional and inappropriate at the time. just as placing Tony Stewart on a pedestal (no question, Tony is the best driver with Hamlin and Kyle Busch) but underserving of premature praise and awards.
Since I did not see the entire race, there must have been a back packer or less popular driver than Stewart more deserving of the GHMOTR.
