Good interview with Tony Stewart

Pretty intersting.

Some points I agree with, others just seem to be the bastion of 'speak his mindness' pandering to the JR loyalist however. Stewart is a great driver...and some would disagree, but seems like he is being less himself and more of a publicity seeker these days to me.

The whole 'me and Jr are good buddies' deal seems a little contrived.

Thats my opinion anyhow.

I think what happened last week has been highly blown way out of proportion. I think we're starting to knit-pick and scrutinize way too much in this series.

I totally agree with Tony about this, Seems like the media will make a big deal out of anything they can anymore!

Yeah, but remember... Tony is behind Dale Jr about anything. What's fair for one is fair for all. They need to get that thru their skulls.

I wonder what tune he'll be singing if he beats DEJr by 24 points for the cup? I suppose he'd just give it to Jr. along with all the money.

Obviously Nascar needs to let Stewart re-write the rule book to his liking and then get back to racing.

Nothing he said there surprised me in the least. He has always thought he could run NASCAR better than the guys who are running it. I'm sure he has felt that way about most everything he has been involved in. He is a very arrogant and immature young man. That has taken him to great heights in this sport and it also keep him from achieving greater heights. But that is just my opinion.

He did bring up a good point. If it happens on the track, take the points. Off the track.. take the $$
