Yeah this could be the nite for the Mavs, after 26 years.......we just may win the West!
Go Mavs!!!!!!!! :beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang:

Forgive me as I'm not a fan of the NBA, but isn't Josh Howard playing for the Mavs? He lived on my route when he was in high school. Came from a very poor family, but real good people. Knew his momma well and was so glad when he went right here to Wake Forest, and then to get drafted and doing well in the NBA. Another local product is Chris Paul who also went to WF and of course, Tim Duncan who literally has the area renamed for him for his years at WF.

Yes, buck, Josh Howard plays for the Mavs. And a darn fine player he is! :beerbang:

Josh was terrific in HS and then again when he was at Wake Forest. I'm glad that he's doing well in the NBA and I'm glad for his parents. Good folks they are.

Looking forward to this match up!

Mavs have win taken away.

PHOENIX (PA)The Mavs had their win taken away early Friday morning after it was learned that Nowitzki had used an illegal shoe. According to officials, the shoe was 1/8 inch too low after the game, thus causing a forfeit.

Sorry everyone, the Miami Heat took the NBA Championship last night! As a native Miamian and a mega sports fan, I couldn't be happier this morning....although I could be better rested, the game ended after midnight :)
Congratulations to Pat Riley and the Miami Heat!
