Good Morning!

For some, it may be recovering from the weekend. LOL

For me, going to take my lunch to school and visit some friends during their lunch time. Going to take a goodly piece of the rum cake I baked yesterday. Made with real rum. hehehe

This week will be busy --- getting ready to make the trip to Richmond next week. YeeeeeHawwwwwww ! !

When you do leave on your trip?

Another day keeping society safe from murderers, rapists, credit card thieves, forgers and the like. Ho-hum. All my little criminals have been behaving themselves lately though. At least as far as I can tell. Give it time...

And Paul, just where the heck do you think YOU'RE going, young man??

Going up to Nova Scotia for a few overnights.

Gotta get away from the bass-drive-bys and constant noise and relax for a bit. :)

My cousin Signe lives in Baddech, NS. Her son is named Paul. Jeeez, you must know them. :D

Have a great time. I've never been there but hear the coast is a lot like parts of Southcental Alaska. Must be beautiful

It should be nice Alaska...we can't wait. We've had a few personal problems lately and we need to just get away and do nothing for a bit.

Have a great time, Paul! Hope you're not going to miss Darlington, though.

Are you bringing bagels, or do they put those under your pillow in Nova Scotia? :p

Well, doing nothing will be good then. Now if the weather gods will shine on you, it'll be even better. :)

Doesn't look too promising but getting rained into a cozy beach cottage for a few days can be nice and relaxing too. :)

Belly lox?! What's belly lox? Lox alone is bad enough, IMO. Blecch!!! :bleh:

No, I didn't get that message from you. Did you email it to me? I haven't checked my email since Saturday, so I'd better go check it now... :)

I've been told we have the second widest range of tides in North America. Sometimes as much as a 30 foot difference from low to high. I think the tides in NS have the widest range in North America.

Kat, belly lox? Is that from the belly of a salmon? Sorta like fish bacon, huh?

Paul, as you can see, your vacation has started another food discussion. Guess we all eat well around here.:)

Belly Lox??and you are in NY?? just check a nice Jewish deli.

I forwarded an offer from www.worldstart.com for an incredible cookbook.
If you can't find my forward (could be just for grins), just check out that site. I love it. PURRRRRRRRRRRRR
