Bad news --- finally learned why I can't see worth a flip out of the right eye. I have a nice fat cataract. That's why I haven't been posting very much --- its hard as hell to read when you see 2 of everything and its blurry to boot.

Good news --- the cataract is coming out next Tuesday. :)
 
That's bad news with a hopeful good ending! Glad to know why you haven't been around much! Try to stay cool over there! :)

My 92 year old mother in law just had lazer surgery on her right eye about a month ago; the doctors told her they'd do the other eye in October. She can see so much better out of the right eye that she doesn't want to wait until October, she wants to have the other eye done right away.

Hope you have the same sort of success with your surgery.

TRL my bro in law is a eye surgen, The surgery is very lowkey and quick. Ive been able to watch about a dozen or so of them. Recovery is a bitch with the itching but it goes away. Hope you get it all taken care of though. Sending good thoughts your way.
 
Sam, right now I'll take anything just to be rid of the blurry vision.

My good friend had both eyes done recently. Both cataract removal and lasik. She's a certified wimp when it comes to pain, etc., but even she said it was no problem.

I admit to being a little nervous, though. So, to you, my friends, I say "Thank you" for your kind thoughts.
