why does it have to be the end of break? It just needs to be longer. I am just glad that I will be back home in 2 weeks. :angel:

Hi pb, I've had a lot of problems posting this past week-keep getting error messages and thrown off. Email me my friends with any help you can!

Could just be an overload due to so many people at home,and on computers.My Roadrunner has been acting up a bit.I defraged,cleaned out some space.How much memory are you running?I put another 256 stick in mine.Ms Pbunch plays a game called Everquest,It seems to have helped a lot.I am no computer expert by any means though.I have a guy who does all my work,And he seems to know what he is doing.He is a programmer for the Postal service:)

I have no clue what the hey is going on and it is only THIS forum that is messed up for me. All else works fine, and I get rid of all not needed every day. I have no clue about what you said. Intel Inside, Idiot Outside!
 
Another weekend coming to a close. Kat, maybe you should try deleting your cookies. Ever done that before? I'm talking about all of them. Course you would then have to re-enter all your passwords for all the sites you visit, but it will make the computer run better again. Also, if you would just clean off the graphics from Internet Explorer, that would help as well and a bit easier. In case you haven't done that before, here is the steps. Click Start and then Settings and then Control Panel. When that opens, double click on Internet Options. In the General tab, click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet files section. Another window will pop up and just click OK. This will get rid of a whole lot of trash accumilated on your PC. That's also where you can delete your cookies if you so desire, but again, beware, you'll need your password/passwords again when you first visit sites you have saved.
 
Buck, the whole problem started when I deleted ALL cookies
I clear my History and cache every single day.
 
Oh Jeez, I don't like what I'm seeing here! :) You might want to just close everything and reboot if you haven't done that. If that doesn't help, you might have a corrupted file somewhere that is causing a problem. Have you tried running the Internet Explorer Repair tool?
 
Yes I have closed and rebooted, used restore settings, contacted my ISP and Microsoft as well as Norton..PIZZZED right now, but at least for the moment I am able to post:rolleyes:
 
Well, I'm at a loss, but that's nothing new for me!:) If this is the only site that you're having problems, it's got to be somewhere within this site. I've had some of the same problems here and I can't find the reason. Sometimes I can't get graphics to load, but when I hit Refresh, sometimes they will load. I've had some sites where they will never load. That's when I get the 404 error message. I have just come to the conclusion that it's my antiquated machine. I'm hoping to fix that after the first of the year. If you do find out what is causing you to get those error messages, let me know. BTW, you've to an e-mail waitin! :headbang:
 
I didn't do much, but I gave it a shot. Hope things work out for you. Maybe the PC just needs a rest. I hate it when they begin to feel that way. :)
