Goodbye, TNT

How bout Danikers Cokohler commercial? It was firecracker hot.

The new KFC one most likely with a RF member is the best written.

BUTT the Babe singing all my exes live in Texas has enough cute power to be the winner.

I don't know, the chick right at the start of the Hardees commercial is a 10.

Hotpass and my mute button saved me from all of that misery.

What's going to suck when ESPN takes over is that for the first time there will be political ads.

I don't know if I can make it to November 6th without having a heart attack from the campaign oversaturation and the river of bull**** that floods my entire house every time Romney opens that hole in his face. :( Political ads in NASCAR would irritate the piss out of me, almost as much as that g.d. KFC commercial.

It's going to be sad not to have a thread about bad TV coverage each week . I for one am going to miss it .

How about Fox and TNT both showing that Clint Bowyer Five Hour Energy commercials about 12 times per race? I'm tired of seeing Clint walk through the woods with that dumb look on his face.

Willy Robot hunts Ducks.

yes, according to sbnation.com there was a commercial every 5 minutes

Does anyone remember that time they missed a touchdown in an NFL game?

"While we were away, Eli Manning threw a 35 yard touchdown pass to Victor Cruz."

Oh, that's right.... that never happened. -_-

they played an hour worth of commercials...ridiculous
Welcome to the forum big john . Hope we hear more from you . I know I could use a little 'enforcer ' type help around here . Some of these guys have been giving me a hard time.

Attacking politicians on here means we can legally have equal rebuttal time but you dont care, you love to stir the poop pot. :D

Not completely true, let me give you two examples:

1: 1989, Armed Forces Network (AFN) Germany. AFN came back from their really crappy AFN commercials (and I don't know if they've gotten any better, but back then they were really, really bad), just in time to see Jerry Rice, about 10 seconds after he scored a touchdown.

2: I know, that may not really count, but you certainly one would be remiss if one failed to mention the 1968 game between the Raiders and Jets where NBC decided to switch over to the broadcast of the movie Heidi.

Besides, and not to try and validate TNT here (there really is no excuse for that crap), football and the other sports have pretty much built in commercial break time. There's never a good time to cut away from a race for a commercial break. It's not like they can pick a time and stick to it without the risk of missing something.

ESPN, NBC Sports Network and FOX have all discovered side-by-side. I will admit it's more difficult this year because there are so many races that have been on the brink of being run caution free in their entirety.

In case you didn't comprehend my message, it was in direct response to your "it never happened" statement.

TNT is gone for the year. Take it up with them and NASCAR. Or will you never shut up about this past event either?

The Heidi Game or Heidi Bowl was an American football game played on November 17, 1968. The home team, the Oakland Raiders, defeated the New York Jets, 43–32. The game is remembered for its exciting finish, as Oakland scored two touchdowns in the final minute to overcome a 32–29 New York lead. The Heidi Game obtained its name because the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) controversially broke away from the game with the Jets still winning to air the television film Heidi at 7 p.m. in the Eastern Time Zone.

C'mon, Ted. You love it when the guys give you a "hard time"! :p
...not that there is anything wrong with that...
BTW, Good to see new members, Big John! Makes me feel less like the New Guy!
