Minnesota beat Arkansas in the Music Cty Bowl today. Arkansas was an 8 point favorite. Minnesota''s first bowl win since 1985 when I was ten years old. Think I'll be partying the next few nights are this win

Gopher, do you miss Lou Holtz? He sure made that team a good one, as he has almost every team he's coached in college. That was back in the hay days of Hayden Fry coaching Iowa. Was some good football back then.

We have some mixed feelings about Lou. He did turn things around a bit, but we were just 6-5 both seasons he was here. Its was disappointing that he left for ND, but most people are upset that he commited the program to the Metrodome (and off campus) until 2011. Lou also left the program with some of the field problems. There was the Darville scandal.
