Gordon winning streak?

It's possible. He runs well at The Lady. He has a history of getting wins in bunches. But I don't see it this year. Will he win again this year? Very probably. But a winning streak is a bit too much IMO to look for.

Would not look for a big streak right now, the team still isn't showing any kind of consistency, seems this is the most inconsistent year I can recall for Jeff.

Jeff is returning this week to the site of his last DNF, reckon he will keep that streak going??

Yea, that's the next streak that I'm worried about him breaking.:(

i hope he atleast wins one or two more times this year

I'll be rootin for a first or second time winner.

Jeff Gordon may be one of the best of the so-called modern era of nascar, but next to the legends of stock car racing and/or the best auto racers of all time he is little more than a guy who had the best car out there for a few years.

I dont care how good you are if you dont have a good car ( car that can stay up there with the rest) you cant win in any autosport events.

Correct Smack. ANY era, you had to have the car or you weren't gonna win. A lot of Petty's wins were against very inferior competition 3 and 4 times a week! Having a good car is a big part of Nascar, that's why it is a TEAM sport!:)

are you just talking about cars? or any racing?

Of couse without a really really good car, competing isnt gonna happen. If you think about it, just a tiny little difference in a car can make the difference between finishing 1st and 15th or worse.
