Got into a car accident.

I was coming home from my Girl SCout Leader meeting. Pure ice out. The guty behind me couldnt get stopped hit me and I pushed me into oncoming traffic where I got hit by another car.I am pretty shook. I am okay but the guy that hit me was pretty messed up. The air bag went off in my face that was scarey. I cant stop shaking. I hope he is okay say a prayer for him guys please. Think I better go to bed. Night
 
I'm very sorry to hear that Dee---take care of yourself the next few days and I hope your daughter is ok!
 
Glad you are okay! Make you a good stiff drink and go to bed! Things will be okay. Tay wasn't with you, I hope?
 
Just spoke with Dee gang. Tay wasn't with her,thank God, so she is fine. Candi herself seems a little shaken with good reason and asks us to pray for the guy in the other vehicle, he isnt doing well.

It was head -on due to the ice. Nasty stuff.

Dee, I am so glad to hear that you are OK. Don't let all the rest of it get you down. The main thing is that you are OK and that you family was not involved.

So sorry for the other person too but there is nothing you could have done under those circumstances.

Rest well and take it easy for a few days.
 
Damn Dee, I am glad you are ok. Just look at the bright side, you'll get a new car.

Dee, I know you are concerned about the guy in the other car, but you cannot dwell on that. Everything was beyond YOUR control. There was nothing you could do. Take it easy for a couple of days, and you will feel better. Glad Tay wasn't with you, too. ;)
 
Oh Dee, I'm so sorry to hear about this! Thank God you are OK. If I may, I suggest you try to get to a doctor as a precaution. Rest and take your mind off everything except yourself and the family.
 
Dee hang in there and yes I'll be glad to pray for the man and his family. I'm very thankful that you were not hurt and Tay was not with you. If you need to talk just holler. We'll be here. In the last few days there's been 3 fatal accidents around my house. Everyone needs to slow down and take it easy ok!

Hope everything turns out ok. Glay you wasn't hurt. Hopeing the guy that hit you will be ok. Ice is a tricky thing. :(
 
Glad to hear you're OK. Your car can always be replaced, but you can't. I hope the other guy gets better. Take comfort in the fact that you did all you could, and it wasn't your fault. We'll all be here for you.
 
Thanks to everyone for all your concern and prayers. I don't know what I would have done if Tay would have been with me. God I don't even want to think of it. The man that hit me is doing better. Just happens that I know one of his nurses so she has been keeping me up to date. I am still terribly sore and pretty bruised, but I will make it.

Glad you're feeling better. It'll take a little bit of time, but you will be as good as new!

And I am perfectly aware of how you'd feel if Tay had been in the car with you. It has been many years ago, but I had a car wreck with my son in the car. We were broad-sided by a teenager on the passenger side of my car, which was where my son was, in his car seat. My car was pushed down an embankment. I had to hand my son out of the window to a complete stranger! It was one of the most frightful experiences of my life! We were both okay, which was certainly a relief.
