Got my class ring today....

It had a 45 on one side for Adam Petty adn on the other side it has a checkard flag it looks hot and nice
 
Thats very cool!!! Mine has the year i graduated (2001) on one side and checkard flags on the other!! Plus the ring is a Petty blue color, I thought that was cool
 
Here in Pa I haven't noticed alot of people having them. Maybe it's a southern thing. When I was in school almost everone had one. It was big to do.
 
I got my class ring out of the box today. It has class of 1972 on it. Some of the folks in this thread weren't even around then.:(
 
I never understood the class ring either. Like you said, maybe its a southern thing. 1972? I was -3 :D
 
I don't even have a class ring yet! Mine is going to be black, at least thats what i want it to be.

Stay in school. Not to the point of becoming a lifelong professional student but long enuf to either earn a degree or learn how to do something, maybe even both.:)
 
I will be graduating in 2004, I don't see the need for a class ring for me, I don't have any school spirit at all.
 
Mine was made out of wood, which is good, cause now it is petrified!:p
 
1972? -13 years!! Oh well. I don't really want a class ring just because I don't want to remember school one bit.
 
I got mine in '83. My friend and I would turn them around on our fingers and play drums on the bar of the place we hung out at. We drove everyone crazy! Needless to say, mine's not in very good shape.
 
I have to send it back because they made the damn thing 1 and a half sizes too big
