i don't know if this has happened to anyone here but please don't do what i did.ignoring the problem only causes a chain reaction.bring your car in imedately.i was having problems w/my grand am gt 01.it was running hot and kept saying low coolent.i kept adding coolent and water to it to it and continued driving it to work which is 10minutes away.my oldest brother checked it and couldn't find anything leaking.i called my other brother which told me to check the oil that if it looked milky not to drive it under any circumstances.to make a long story short, i prayed every prayer known to man plus came up w/a few of my own in route to repair shop.good news i found out where all the water and coolent went.unfortunatelly it went into my engine!intake valvue broke causing a chain reaction blew several gaskets, valves needed new water pump, coolent flush, oil change....anyway, thank the Lord majority was covered by extended warenty i bought few yrs ago.was over $1200 i only paid $306.50work took 9 hrs.got it back same day.basically runs like new.if anyone hasn't bought am extended warrenty learn from me well worth it.i never even had 35,000mls on it.
