It's typical General Motors workmanship. In my liifetime I have owned 3 GM vehicles and two of them were pieces of crap. The third only runs cause I bought it brand new & have only put 16,000 miles on it. But to make up for not breaking yet, it's costing me an arm and a leg instead. I'm never buying another GM product again new or used. I should've learned from my folks they had all kinds of problems with their cars when I was growing up. When I started High School is when they started buying foreign only cars & they've never had car trouble since. I like Chevy NASCAR teams, but thats where it ends...

That is very interesting. You hate GM but root for GM race teams??? Let me ask WHY???? That absoutly make no sence. JMO tho.

I had less than 2K left on my extended warranty for my Lincoln when the driver's seat started malfuntioning. It would work, then it wouldn't.

It took 13 days and a visit from a Ford field engineer to fix a partially broken wire in the wiring harness for the electric seat.
Cost to me --- $100 deductible.

I will never buy another car without extending the warranty.

We didnt get the extended waranty on my dad's truck. Bought it new in fab of 05, now it has 107,002 miles on it right now.

Had it for over 2 years. You'd think he get out on the road and drive it once in a while...

he's a regional service technicican for hospital equipment. Thinking about changing jobs though to something he's more familiar with, electric motors and other type of stuff.
