Good run for Todd Bodine to capture the BGN pole. Scott Riggs took the outside front row spot with another excellent lap.

Bushwhacker Jeff Burton lines up third.
 
And good going for Todd. I miss his brother Geoff. When's his next venture into Cup?

Not scheduled to be on Speed.

But, due to a couple of bad crashes the Busch qualifying was still going on when the WC coverage began.

SHould actually give a thumbs up to the Speed Channel. They broadcast the rest of the Busch qualifying and then went with WC runs in full. No running away to other scheduled programming!
 
Matt was not entered at Chicago. The only WC regulars jumping this week were Burton and Spencer.

Unless you count those who are regulars in both series now. Nemechek, Compton for example.
 
Matt's Busch team has sponsorship issues and is done for this season, they are sheduled to have a deal lined up to run a few races next season though.
