It looks like the Grainger team with Greg Biffle are getting better and better ever week after missing the race at Vegas. He was the top finishing rookie in the last three races. He is also the highest rookie in the points standings in 24th (the next rookie is McMurray in 26th) and that is also with one less start than all the other rookies. I still think he is going to get a win or two this year and win the rookie of the year.

As a Biffle fan,I am finally starting to breathe easy.Greg was capable of this all along.A lot of people for some reason love to downplay Biffle, but his talent behind a wheel should be undeniable by now.

Go Greg go!

I am not a fan of Greg Biffle but It is kinda nice to see someone new up there racin' good!

I do think Biffle will win sooner or later this year. But i think McMurray may give Biffle a good fight for ROTY

I knew the miss at Vegas would jump start this team. I haven't even been checking the ROTY standings at Jayski, but I assume Greg isn't leading because of missing Vegas, but also guess he isn't too far behind. He'll get an extra 6 bonus points too for finishing 5th at Bristol. I really familiarized myself with how NASCAR scores the rookie points when Matt & Dale Jr. were rookies. :D

Hey 17!And we know who you were for in THAT battle!

Kenseth is tough this year,no doubt!
Yup! Especially after watching him loose two years in a row in the Busch series to him. Matt's team was very much underfunded in '98 when they finished 2nd to him. Of course with a name like Earnhardt, & pops owning the team...the sponsors were begging to have their name on the hood of his car.

Here are the Rookie of the Year standings after Bristol:

Pos Driver Rookie Points Driver Points Points Pos
1 Jamie McMurray 61 574 26th
2 Greg Biffle 60 603 24th
3 Casey Mears 56 494 33rd
4 Jack Sprague 50 420 37th
5 Tony Raines 45 375 41st
6 Larry Foyt 30 214 42nd
7 Hideo Fukuyama 7 64 46th

Greg Biffle is only one point behind Jamie is the rookie standings and that is with Biffle also missing a race. Go Greg Go.
